Message from the President

Greetings,
Welcome to the website of the Phi Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. It is my honor and pleasure to extend greetings on behalf of the dynamic women of our chapter. As a proud chapter within the Significant South Atlantic Region, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing the international programs of our illustrious sorority under the theme “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.” For 26 years, the Phi Pi Omega Chapter has been dedicated to serving the communities of Coweta and Fayette Counties with excellence and purpose. Guided by the belief that we should do the ordinary in an extraordinary manner, our members work collectively to strengthen our communities while cultivating meaningful and lasting sisterhood. Through our programs and initiatives, we remain committed to uplifting those we serve. Our efforts focus on supporting education and scholarships for youth, addressing food insecurity and homelessness, providing resources to families in need, working to raise awareness and combat domestic violence, and promoting economic empowerment and opportunity throughout our communities. Additionally, as part of our continued commitment to civic engagement, we have added a Voting Information tab to our website. This resource supports our efforts to educate, register, and encourage the citizens of Fayette and Coweta Counties to actively participate in the voting process. We invite you to explore this section to access helpful information and resources that empower our community to make their voices heard at the ballot box. This website serves as a resource for learning more about our programs, service initiatives, and upcoming events that support and uplift the Coweta and Fayette County communities. We encourage you to visit often to stay informed about Phi Pi Omega Chapter’s service projects, partnerships, and public events. As we celebrate 26 years of service and sisterhood, we are proud of the lasting impact our members continue to make. Through the establishment of our affiliated 501(c)(3) foundation, The Hedera Foundation, Inc., in 2005, we have expanded our ability to serve and invest in our community. To date, we have awarded more than $120,000 in student scholarships and provided over 3,000 meals to help combat childhood hunger, and $30,0000 in community grants reflecting our unwavering commitment to uplifting the next generation and strengthening the communities we serve. These accomplishments are made possible through the dedication, leadership, and compassionate service of the members of Phi Pi Omega, whose commitment to excellence continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and engagement, which are vital to the success of our ongoing efforts to provide “Service to All Mankind.” Yours in Sincere and Significant Service, |
